Set with a thick high-domed oval jadeite cabochon of intense emerald green colour with very high translucency, weighing 104.45 carats, to a brilliant-cut diamond surmount surrounded by eight round-shaped rubies, diamond and ruby weighing 1.08 carats and 2.306 carats respectively, to a polished carved dentiform backing, enhanced by a gold neck chain, mounted in 18K gold, jadeite cabochon measuring approximately 31.78 x 29.01 x 14.03 mm, length approximately 4.6 cm.

Accompanied by report no. 18081246 dated 28 August from Gubelin stating that the jadeite tested is natural jadeite jade, with no indications of treatment and comments that these type of jadeite may also be called “Type A” in the trade.

Also accompanied by a Gubelin appendix to report no. 18081246 stating that “the described jadeite displays a richly saturated and evenly distributed imperial green colour, combined with the size and a high degree of translucency, making it a piece of outstanding beauty and importance.”
