of rectangular form with indented corners, supported on a reticulated foot, the cover carved in low-relief depicting a scholar and his attendant crossing a bridge in a mountainous landscape amidst scrolling clouds, the sides and box decorated with panels of archaistic motifs, with a poetic inscription to one side, all against a brocade ground, the smoothly polished stone of very pale celadon tone.
