with rounded sides rising to a constricted neck and rolled rim, the interior of the vessel and outer rim glazed russet, the unglazed exterior decorated with a combed design in the form of concentric arcs, all below a band of thick pearly glazed studs encircling the neck.
Note: Jars of this type were possibly made in imitation of basketwork rice measures and are known from the Ganzhou kilns, located in Jiangxi province.
