finely worked with deep rounded sides and a gently everted rim, supported on a short splayed foot and concave base, the smoothly polished stone of a pale golden-celadon colour with russet streaks; together with a Japanese seto ware tea caddy, finely potted with a spiralling base and slightly rounded sides, covered overall in an attractive olive brown glaze with a slight iridescence, the glaze stopping short above the foot revealing a dark grey stoneware, wood cover.
