the four-armed deity seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base, the principal hands held in anjalimudrabefore the chest and the attendant arms flanking the shoulders raised in vitarkamudra, wearing a dhoti further embellished with beaded jewels and a shawl over the shoulder, the face with a benevolent expression, the tall headdress surmounted by an Amitabha Buddha, all supported by a pair of crouching attendant figures in an octagonal pedestal decorated with dragon scrolls, incised near the hem of the lotus base with a reign mark reading Da Qing Qianlong nian jingzao (Respectfully made in the Qianlong period in the Great Qing dynasty).
