each with a wide splat terminating in a scroll end at the top, carved on the front in low relief with a bat suspending a beribboned zoomorphic chime and pendant tassels, flanked by open framework bordered by keyfret and archaistic scrolls, the armrests similarly decorated with two openwork frames on each side, all above a broad rectangular seat frame carved on the front in low relief with two narrow panels of interlinked scrolls, supported on a waist with two plain rectangular panels on three sides, continuing to the apron carved with beaded edges and further archaistic scrollwork, all upon four bow legs with hooved feet.
