Each has a continuous curving top rail terminating in outward-sweeping hooks, and is supported by curved and straight supports and an S-shaped splat. The soft mat seat is set within a beaded, rectangular frame raised on rounded-square legs and joined by humpback stretchers supported by vertical struts, and stepped stretchers at the base.
Provenance: Acquired in Hong Kong, 1950s-60s.
