the rounded sides rising from a short tapering foot to an everted rim, painted and enamelled to the interior with a medallion enclosing a ferocious five-clawed dragon in pursuit of a 'flaming pearl', all amidst fire and cloud scrolls, encircled at the well and to the exterior with a band enclosing two similar dragons, the base glazed white, the six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle.
