The pendant is pierced and hollowed to depict a small catfish, highlighted by the pale milky green section of the stone, swimming amdist a lotus flower and broad lotus leaves, carved out of the glassy bright green part of the stone. The material overall has a glossy finish.
Note: An identification report from Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory Limited confirms that the present lot is natural green jadeite.
