A pair of Chinese ivory model pagodas made in Canton, complete with their garden terraces,trees,tables with precious objects, scholar's rocks, bells and Buddhas. Carved and painted ivory. height: 66.04 cm (2 ft. 2 in.), depth: 29.21 cm (11.5 in.), width/length: 25.4 cm (10 in.). Good antique condition. Price $75,000
Note: There is a Cantonese ivory boat of the same quality in the collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum that was brought back to England in 1803 by Mr. Richard Hall.
