The ribbed bands of hollow oval cross section, each terminal naturalistically formed into the head of a ram with curved horns, the details of the fur and horns chased, the underside of the jaw is detailed with short angled lines forming a pattern of zig-zags, a separately attached band forms a collar joining the head to the ribbed band and is held in place by two pins, each collar edged with twisted wire, 3¼in (8cm) diam (2).
