the deep rounded sides rising from a straight foot to a flaring lobed rim, covered overall in a lustrous black glaze suffused with russet 'hare's fur' streaks; 15.3cm., 6in.

The dating of this lot is consistent with the results of a thermoluminescence test, Oxford Authentication Ltd., P106a91.
