the raised tapered foot rising to a rounded body and flaring rim, the exterior carved with a continuous band of scrolling lotus below a border of angular scrolls and covered in a pale celadon glaze, the interior lightly incised with wispy clouds encircling a central shou character and the cavetto with two dragons chasing flaming pearls among flame and cloud scrolls, the base inscribed with a six-character reign mark within a double-circle.
