The vase is covered overall with a greyish-blue glaze, with the exception of the foot revealing the dark-brown body, wood stand, box

ProvenanceCollection of Chen Chang Wai (1907-1997), acquired circa 1980s.

NoteChen Chang Wai was an official in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan and served as a delegate to Thailand. He later became an adviser to the National Palace Museum, Taipei, and researcher at the National History Museum, Taipei.
