finely potted with the shallow rounded sides raised on a short, tapered foot, the interior painted in iron-red enamel with a lively five-clawed dragon writhing against a ground of underglaze-blue crashing waves, the exterior similarly decorated with nine dragons striding above breaking waves, the base inscribed with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue.
