With gently rounded sides rising to a wide flared rim, supported on a short neatly pared foot, covered inside and out with a black glaze finely streaked with a dense pattern of russet streaks extending from just below the rim on the inside of the bowl and pooling in an uneven line about half way down on the outside, leaving the foot unglazed and revealing the buff body.
