Painted to the centre in underglaze blue and bright red, yellow, green and black enamels with two phoenixes in flight amidst wisps of clouds, with small fruit and flower sprays around the well, the exterior boldly painted with auspicious emblems, the base inscribed with a six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle.
Provenance: Formerly in a Swiss private collection.
