potted with gently rounded tapered sides, rising to angled shoulders surmounted by a short neck and flat inverted rim, the recessed base incised with a six-character seal mark, the matching flat cover decorated with a blooming lotus pod, covered overall save for the rims with an ivory-tinged crackled glaze.
Provenance: The Canton Collection, Hong Kong, and thence by family descent.
