The dating of this lot is consistent with the result of a thermoluminescence test, Oxford authentication Ltd., no. C111n23.

 

Note: Compare a similar vase in the Idemitsu Museum of Art, Tokyo, illustrated in  Chinese Ceramics in the Idemitsu Collection,  Tokyo, 1987, pl. 536.
