These bowls in the shape of a ten-lobed lotus flower are representative works among the so-called "jade-color celadon," which is evident in their thin, delicate bodies covered with a beautiful translucent glaze. Influence from Ru ware of the Northern Song dynasty can be inferred from various elements, including the bisque firing before glazing, the glaze covering the whole base, and the three small quartz spur marks as well as the overall form itself. Sherds of a similar work were found at the kiln site of Sadang-ri in Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do.
