A large ormolu-mounted blue and white baluster vase and cover. Kangxi

Finely painted around the exterior with petal-shaped panels enclosing various flowering branches emerging from behind rockwork, with insects and birds in flight above, framed below by a band of floral sprays and above with a border of segmented chrysanthemum heads at the shoulder, the high domed cover with a bud finial similarly decorated (cover restored). 55.8cm (22in) high.
