Note: Compare also with a teapot to a mid-Qing dynasty celadon bowl in the Palace Museum, Beijing, similarly carved with overlapping lotus petals around the exterior, each panel alternately inscribed with 'fu' and 'xi', happiness, the finial of the cover as a lotus pod, illustrated in 'Zhongguo Yuqi QUanji', vol.6, pl.129
