A Chinese Blue and White large Jardinière, 18th Century
the cylindrical bowl tapering to the foot, with slightly molded lip, finely decorated in the manner of the 'Master of the Rocks' with a dark cobalt-blue continuous landscape with pavilions among rocky mountains and water, all under the light of a full moon, scrolled-chain border below rim, the glaze with an 'orange-peel' texture, with an elaborate carved wood stand. 2 pieces. height of jardinière 20 3/4 in./52.7 cm.
