The squat globular shape painted in deep blue with birds in a landscape of rocks and flowers and a mythical beast on a carpet emanating from a cartouche before 'antiques' and auspicious symbols, base with underglaze blue double rings, fitted with a later lid. Height of jar 6 1/4 inches. Small scattered iron spots and pinholes. Estimate $3,000-5,000
