Silver, partly gilt and interior gilt. On the round, scalloped stand is the barrel-shaped body with lobed decor. Between two double railed elongated lobes is a large ovid lobe with a leaf engraving. The hinged lid has a forked pommel. Height 16,5cm. Ca. 540. Condition A/B.
Lid and bottom marked: Augsburg inspection mark for 1663-66 (Seling Nr.0660), maker's mark PHS [ligatured] (Paul Hildebrand Sprockhoff, 1662-1697, ebd. Nr.1645). Viennese import mark 1806/07 (Tardy S.74). Estimation : 6 500 / 8 000 €
