Besides figurative drinking vessels in the shape of ostriches, gripping and a unicorn Elias Geyer also created a series of mythical creatures of the sea. Two of the five remaining in the Green Vault hippocamps already recorded in the art collection inventory of 1610. They all have a removable head, identifying them as drinking vessels, although it remains unclear whether they ever found use as such.Tail serves as a turbo snail.
