each quatrilobed jardinière decorated around the body with a scene of real and mythical sea creatures above a band of waves amid swirling clouds punctuated with flaming pearls, the center of each lobe set with a gilt-bronze articulated oval dragon medallion, the base decorated with a cracked ice and prunus design, supported on four ruyi-form tab feet, and 'planted' with orchids attached to craggy rocks and surrounded by other plants (2).
