Designed as a graduated strand of thirty-nine emerald beads, measuring from approximately 18.47 – 18.20 x 15.65 to 9.45 – 9.35 x 7.45 mm, alternating with ruby bead spacers, joined by a cabochon pink sapphire and single-cut diamond clasp, mounted in silver-topped gold, 22 ins. Estimate: $200,000 – $300,000
With report CS 56252 dated 13 August 2013 from the American Gemological Laboratories stating that it is the opinion of the Laboratory that the origin of the emeralds would be classified as Brazil. Clarity Enhancement: Minor, Oil-type. An excess of 50 tested at random.
