the pear-shaped body rising from a straight foot to a tapering neck, painted to the exterior with pendent lappet-shaped cartouches divided by foliate scrolls and variously enclosing stylised floral sprays, all between ruyiand pointed lappets, the neck similarly decorated with stylised ruyi motifs below a lappet band, the mouth cut and bound with a silver rim; 27.5cm., 10 7/8 in.
