Molded with a barbed edge to the rim, conforming ribs to the walls of the trumpet neck and the flaring foot divided by a bulbous mid-section incised with a coiled silkworm pattern visible beneath the pale gray-green glaze applied to all surfaces except the pad of the set-in foot ring (small firing imperfections). 7 1/2in (19cm) high. Sold for US$ 2,750 (€2,009)
