of hexagonal section and broad gu-shape, the compressed central bulb set with a wide trumpet mouth, standing on a splayed pedestal foot, covered overall with a pale grayish glaze suffused with a fine crackle, the footrim with a brown wash, six-character seal mark in underglaze blue.
Provenance: Japanese collection.
A vase of almost identical size and shape in the Palace Museum is illustrated in Gugong bowuyuan cang Qingdai yuyao ciqi, Vol. II, Beijing, 2005, p. 320, no. 146.
