well potted with deep rounded sides rising from a straight foot to an everted rim, the interior engraved with a ferocious five-clawed dragon writhing sinuously amidst wispy cloud swirls next to a flaming pearl, the exterior similarly decorated with two further dragons leaping amidst swirling clouds over tumulous waves above the foot, each chasing a 'flaming pearl', the designs all picked out in a bright green on a vibrant mustard-yellow ground, the base left white and inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark; 18.1 cm., 7 1/8 in.
