The ‘chepri’ is a traditional coat of the Turkmen. The present one is made of red velvet and decorated with white embroidery. The edges are seamed with cotton strips with flower patterns. The coat is lined with cotton and silk fabrics. The piece is in good condition, showing slight wear marks. The back length is 150 cm, and the width at the hem is 95 cm.
