Of wide form, bearing a kinji ground and lacquered with a continuous design of the Wagojin, gods of conjugal harmony, smiling in conversation, in coloured togidashi maki-e, inscribed Hanabusa Itcho with seal, the interior of nashiji with kinji edges, signed Koma Kyuhaku. 7.9cm (3 1/8in) high. Estimate £2,000 - 3,000 (€2,400 - 3,700)
