Carved jade. Finely carved horse and monkey group. The translucent stone of very pale celadon tone with flecks of russet. Typical Ming style stone of a lingzhi fungus with a round wooden base. The stone of mottled tones from celadon to dark brown. Dimensions: 7.5 to 9 cm. Good condition. Estimation : 800 € / 1 000 €

Green and pale celadon jade stones, each finely carved in the Form of an animal or a lingzhi, the symbol of longevity

These two jade carvings came from China and date back to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912).
They were made in the style of the Ming dynasty and represented is a finely carved horse with a monkey on its back.
This carving has a translucent color of very pale celadon with flecks of russet. Also a lingzhi fungus on a round wooden base is rendered and shows mottled tones from celadon to dark brown.
