Suspending a highly translucent jadeite of vivid imperial green colour, carved as a 'laughing Buddha', edged by brilliant-cut diamonds together weighing 1.15 carats, surmounted by a brilliant-cut diamond weighing approximately 1.50 carats, mounted in 18 karat white gold, accompanied by a black cord. Buddha measuring approximately 39.97 x 44.30 x 8.59mm. Estimate: HK$18,500,000 - 22,000,000 (US$2,380,000 - 2,850,000). Sold for HK$21,830,00

Accompanied by Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory report numbered KJ84780, dated 19 March 2014, stating that the jadeite is natural, known in the trade as 'A Jade'; also accompanied by GIA report numbered 5156688082, dated 27 August 2013, stating that the 1.50 carat diamond is H colour, SI1 clarity, excellent cut, polish and symmetry.
