Of Japonisme design, centring on the figure Hotei, one of the seven Japanese God of Fortune, playing a Koto, composed of carved glass imitating turquoise, coral and white agate, embellished with a rose-cut diamond necklace, upon a black glass plaque carved with swirling motifs, within a stylised traditional Japanese architectural border set with rose- and circular-cut diamonds.
