Of inverted bell form with a flared rim and raised on a tall foot, the well-controlled cobalt wash applied to the interior and exterior but leaving a white line along the rim, visible beneath the colorless glaze applied to all surfaces except the foot pad, the mark written in underglaze blue seal script to the center of the recessed base (chip and associated hairline crack). 6 7/8in (17.5cm) diameter
