The bowl is well potted with deep flaring sides rising to an indented rim, covered in and out with a lustrous black glaze finely streaked with russet 'hare's fur' markings, thinning to chocolate-brown at the rim and pooling in an irregular line above the foot exposing the coarse ware fired to a dark purplish-brown colour. 5 in.
