Each is exquisitely painted in doucai palette with a lotus scroll above two rows of florettes interspersed by the raised rib, and a band of spearheads encircling the splayed foot. The interior of the hollow stem foot is inscribed with an apocryphal six-character Chenghua mark in a line, box (2).
