The vase is decorated with twelve panels enclosing various scenes of flowers, birds, figures, and mythical beasts within mountainous landscapes, all reserved on a ground of striding dragons and flowers. The shoulders are enamelled with four Daoist emblems, and the neck with two antique vessels between floral panels. 19 1/8 in. (48.6 cm.) high
