The deeply hollowed clear stone carved on one side with the God of Longevity floating on a cloud scroll and holding aloft a branch of fruiting peach and on the other with the Queen Mother of the West standing on a flying long-tailed phoenix also holding up a peach branch, the vase carved supported around the base with reticulated leafy branches issuing peaches incised with stars, the two handles each formed as a mythical beast head suspending a loose ring and the cover surmounted by a coiling bearded chilong. 13 1/4in (33.6cm) high
