 of bulbous form rising from a recessed base to a tapered neck, finely applied overall with pale caesius-coloured glaze suffused with a matrix of fine colourless and dark grey crackles, save for the footring left unglazed and dressed in a brown wash in imitation of the Song dynasty ware, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a four-character seal mark; 7 cm., 2 3/4  in.
