the compressed globular body rising from a splayed foot to a broad tubular neck, skilfully applied with a rich copper-red glaze transmuting to a pale celadon glaze around the neck, the pale celadon interior and base suffused with fine crackles; 26.9 cm., 10 5/8 in.
