The exterior of the bowl is decorated with four circular medallions, each containing one of the four characters wan shou wu jiang ('boundless longevity'), surrounded by stylized lotus blooms on leafy scrolls. The interior of the bowl is decorated in iron red in the center with a shou character roundel surrounded by five bats (wufu). 5 ¾ in. (14.6 cm.) diam.
