An embroidered green silk damask Daoist priest's robe, Chinese, early 20th century. embroidered and appliqued with dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls, phoenix, a tower within flaming nimbus tower surrounded by disks representing the Twenty-eight Lunar Mansions, broad black satin edging bands embroidered with dragons, earth and sea borders, the front with ivory satin bands embroidered with tiger and dragon.
