The bowl with deep rounded sides is well enamelled with Shoulao riding on a deer followed by four attendants carrying parcels and bearing a fan, all between a band of lingzhi sprays below the mouth rim and scrolling motif above the foot. The interior is decorated with a central roundel containing a fierce dragon below the Eight Buddhist Emblems. 6 1/8 in. (15.5 cm.) diam.
