containing nine pear shape diamonds weighing approximately 8.73 carats total, six pear shape sapphires weighing approximately 6.56 carats total, and five marquise cut sapphires weighing approximately 6.20 carats total.
Provenance Note: The brooch is accompanied by a copy of a Harry Winston bill of sale number 6231 and dated June 10, 1966 for item number 36233, describing the brooch as containing 11 sapphires weighing 11.76 carats total and nine diamonds weighing 8.73 carats total. 8.70 dwts.
Scattered stones show minor wear.
Sapphire characteristics (graded in setting): The sapphires have overall good cut proportions, moderately dark blue hue with strong saturation and high clarity.
Diamond characteristics (graded in setting): Color: E-F - Clarity: VS1-VS2, one is SI1, one is SI2
Fluorescence: one stone with med blue, three weak blue, the rest with none.
