The first of meiping form, the well potted vessel with carved decoration of floral sprays and leafy meanders; the second of pear-shaped form, carved to the exterior in low relief with peony flower heads and a leafy meander, the waisted neck with a cross-hatched border below stiff-leaf lappets, both covered in a thick pea-green glaze. The largest: 24.5cm (9 3/4in) high
