the ovoid body with well-rounded shoulders rising from a recessed base to a small flanged neck, covered overall with a glossy black glaze, swiftly painted on the shoulder with bold russet strokes evoking a bird in flight, the countersunk base glazed, the footring left unglazed revealing a buff-coloured body, Japanese wood box. Quantité: 2 - 20 cm, 7 7/8  in.
